Remember Berlin?

Remember Stattbad? There used to be this old Berlin and it's hard to let go of. The building facades were coal black and many hid secret clubs. A lot of those buildings have been torn down. Slowly eaten, naked brick walls first, then gone. Same with my TV - now it only shows black and white noise. Benni the poodle is still there. I see him walking up and down Berlin-Mitte twice every day. He can't tell us about the old days, but the old punk guy can: "Everything changes. Your present is someone else's past." His mohawk shimmers orange and green in the sunlight. The old chewing gum dots on Alexanderplatz, though, will always stay.
